Crowthorne Carnival 2024

Notice of road closures/traffic disruption

On 6th July, the following roads will be affected by temporary road closures to allow the safe passing of the Carnival Parade.  The Parade will leave the Wellington College entrance on Dukes Ride at 12 noon.

It will then proceed in 3 stages.  Each stage which will be closed sequentially.  The stages are:

• Stage 1 - Wellington College to New Wokingham Road junction, 

• Stage 2 - New Wokingham Road junction to the Prince pub, 

• Stage 3 – The Prince pub to Lower Broadmoor Road.  Please note, this will include the roundabout junction to Waterloo Road/Church Street and closes access from Sandhurst Road for a short time.

Each stage is expected to be affected for at least 20 minutes and all to have finished by 13.30hrs.  Timings are approximate and depend on the number of entrants.  However, as soon as the Parade has passed a junction that junction will re-open.
